2009 - Due to Vodafone Foundation award Jean is working for Cerebral Palsy Africa(CPA) for a year, until end November 2009. Plum Cottage general B&B will be closed to concentrate on accommodating people coming on CPA and People Potential courses. However for old friends and those we know from previous visits......of course we would love to see you !
Plum Cottage is in the peace of the country-side, away from the hustle and bustle of London and yet still near enough to visit for the day. It is very convenient for Alton or the city of Winchester, which was the Capital City of England before William the Conqueror. The Watercress line for steam trains has a station in Medstead. Other places within an easy day's visit are Salisbury, Stonehenge, Portsmouth, the Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley Gardens and many stately homes. There are many interesting pubs and restaurants in the area.
