Plum Cottage is on the edge of the village and is well situated for exploring the countryside or simply enjoying from a comfotable chair.
The garden is managed to work with wildlife, sprays are avoided and the flowers and vegetables are grown organically.

It links directly into a small Woodland Trust wood. The surrounding chalk grassland and mixed farmland are environmentally important for the farmland bird species, some of which are declining and even on the Royal Society for Protection of Birds ‘red list’. Skylark, corn bunting and many others can be spotted and in May the cuckoo can be heard. Of interest too, are the butterflies and moths. There are wonderful walks in the quiet peaceful countryside all around.
